All testers posed with a relaxed face. The iris of the eyes are the same size in the before and after.
In the 30’s the muscles start to lose their tone and the result is a three dimensional expansion.
The face gets larger and fuller looking. The first signs of drooping in all areas has begun.
In the 40’s the three dimensional expansion that began in the 30’s starts to flatten out and move back towards the skull. The face gets longer. The cheeks get flatter. The eyes start to droop and the upper lip starts to lose it’s peak. The cords in the neck start to become noticeable.
In the 50’s, the continuing loss of muscle tone gives a flatter and longer face.The cheeks have flattened and drooped and the muscles are fuller around the bottom of the face. The jawline starts developing the first signs of jowls. The eyes continue to droop and the lips continue to lose their shape. More lines start to appear on the neck.
In the 60’s, the muscles have lost enough tone that wrinkles, folds and jowls begin to appear.
The eyes continue to droop. The cheeks start to get hollow under the eyes. The lower face becomes heavier. The mouth has flattened. The neck shows lines and folds. The area under the chin has begun to sag.
In the 70’s, the muscle loss continues and the wrinkles, folds and lines deepen.
The eyes are drooping forward. The cheek muscles start to separate. The jowls increase. The lips are thin and wide. The neck shows significant wrinkling.
